A Mold Inspection free with every home inspection. A mold assessment which includes an additional report, consultation with remediators and clearance/reinspect is $250-$300 IF a mold is found and a mold assessment is required. Did you or your home inspector discover mold? When mold is discovered there are 2 parties involved. A mold assessor and mold remediation company. The mold assessor provides a mold assessment that explains the presence of mold, how much of the mold is present, how to rid the home of mold and how to prevent the mold from returning. Additionally an estimated cost is stated within the assessment. The cost of the mold assessment, communication with the remediatiors and clearance is $350 TOTAL as a stand alone. Pricing may vary on location. A discounted rate is applied when a mold assessment is performed during the home inspection. A visual inspection is performed for free during the home inspection.
